The Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Saugus Sachems (Saugus, MA), 69-63 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Falcons (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Marblehead (Marblehead, MA). The Magicians go into the Northeastern - Large test with a 0-0 record.
The Sachems now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gloucester for a Northeastern - Small test on Friday, December 18. Saugus will clash with a Fishermen squad coming off a 69-45 non-league win over Swampscott (Swampscott, MA). The Fishermen record now stands at 1-0.
