The Blazers dropped yet another home game Saturday morning to Poolesville 5-3. With the score tied at one, Blair ace Sammy Denenberg fielded a bunt attempt and threw wildly to first into right field and the go ahead run scored all the way from first base. Denenberg gave up three hits right after that, all with two out and we were down 5-1. Such innings have plagued us all year. Junior DH Nevin Brown hit a two-run triple in the fifth to get us to within 5-3, but we didn't make the necessary hitting adjustments against three soft tossing Poolesville pitchers and popped up nine times in the loss.
