The Frederick Cadets basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Damascus Hornets to 54 in the Cadets non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cadets now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Johnson for a MVAL - Chesapeake contest on Thursday, January 7.
With the defeat, Damascus moves to 0-5 on the year. The Hornets travel to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD) to confront the Wolverines in a Montgomery County 3A/2A/1A - West match on Tuesday, January 5. The Wolverines enter the match with a record of 1-6. Watkins Mill won 77-67 in their recent non-league match against Bel Air (Bel Air, MD)
