Brady Acker has been named player of the year. "Brady Acker led the 19-2 Raiders to a regional semi-final finish against the eventual State Champion by compiling a .541 batting average (7th in the state), a .967 slugginh average (2nd in the state), and a .659 OBP )4th in the state),. Brady also homered 4 times (7th in the state) and scored 36 runs (7th in the state. Over the course of his HS career he stole 68 consecutive bases until finally being thrown out this year by Maryland's leading catcher in caught stealing percentage. Overall Brady stole 70 of 72 bases that he attempted. Brady had a great career at Atholton and now moves on to play baseball for George Mason university for the 2015 campaign. "
