The Bad Axe Hatchets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Harbor Beach Pirates to 37 in the Hatchets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Hatchets now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cass City for a Greater Thumb - West contest on Friday, January 4.

The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brown City (Brown City, MI). The Green Devils come into the Greater Thumb - East contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Brown City prevailed over Capac (Capac, MI), 54-41, in a league contest.
