The Colon Magi basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Waldron Spartans to 41 in the Magi league triumph on Friday.

The Magi now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Climax-Scotts for a Southern Central contest on Friday, February 10. Colon will meet a Panthers team coming off a 77-37 league win over Tekonsha (Tekonsha, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 13-0.

The Spartans (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Pittsford (Pittsford, MI). The Wildcats enter the Southern Central contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Pittsford was routed by St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI), 46-39, in a league contest.
