The Hamady Hawks (Flint, MI) basketball nipped the host Genesee Wolves (Genesee, MI), 64-58 in Friday's league test.

The Hawks (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Webberville (Webberville, MI). The Spartans go into the Genesee Area - Blue test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Webberville got by Dryden (Dryden, MI), 45-38, in a league test.

The Wolves now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bendle for a Genesee Area - Blue contest on Tuesday, January 25. Genesee will meet a Tigers team coming off a 72-48 league win over Bentley (Burton, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
