The Shepherd Bluejays basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Hemlock Huskies to 43 in the Bluejays league victory on Tuesday.
The Bluejays now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Alma for a Tri-Valley - Central contest on Friday, February 13. Shepherd will meet a Panthers team coming off a 57-44 league loss to Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
The Huskies (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI). The Vikings come into the Tri-Valley - Central contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Swan Valley beat Ovid-Elsie (Elsie, MI), 70-45, in a league contest.
