Reading Rangers (Reading, MI) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Litchfield Terriers (Litchfield, MI), 71-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Reading upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Concord (Concord, MI) to play the Yellowjackets in a Big 8 bout on Thursday, December 17. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Terriers play the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southern Central bout, on Monday, December 14. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
