Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI), 76-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Monroe upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Bedford (Temperance, MI) to play the Kicking Mules in a Southeastern - Red challenge on Friday, February 26. The Kicking Mules come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Bedford lost 80-40 in their recent league challenge against Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Flat Rock Rams (Flat Rock, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 1. Trenton will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record.
