Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Clair ripped by Maple River
The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting St. Clair Cyclones to 36 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown for a Gopher contest on Thursday, December 15. Maple River will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 49-44 league win over Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Buccaneers record now stands at 3-0.
The Cyclones (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Madelia (Madelia, MN). The Blackhawks enter the Valley contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Madelia was routed by Cleveland (Cleveland, MN), 75-34, in a league contest.
