Pierce Petersohn has been named player of the year. "Pierce led the Triton Cobras to an 18-10 season record. Pierce has the determination and work ethic of a great player. He shows up and gives his all, never complains and does what he is asked to do each and every day. Pierce averaged 29.8ppg and 12.5rpg during the season. Pierce had single game season highs of 51 points vs Dover-Eyota, 20 rebounds vs Albert Lea, and 8 made 3pt shots vs Bethlehem academy. He did this all while shooting 61% from 2pt and 33% from 3pt. He currently sits atop the career point mark at 1900 and holds the single season rebounding record 400. Pierce is constantly trying to improve his game during the season by shooting daily outside of practice and working with a trainer on Sundays. I look forward to seeing what his game will look like next season. "
