The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) volleyball overcame the visiting St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Maple River upgrades its record to 7-15 on the year. The Eagles host Le Center (Le Center, MN) to face the Wildcats in a Valley outing on Tuesday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 17-4. Le Center won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Martin County West (Sherburn, MN)
The Cyclones now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Mountain Lake/Butterfield-Odin for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 8. St. Clair will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 6-11.
