In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host McGregor Mercuries volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Two Harbors Agates.
The Mercuries (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Northland (Remer, MN). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Northland went down by Nashwauk-Keewatin (Nashwauk, MN), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Agates encounter the Wrenshall Wrens (Wrenshall, MN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 18. Two Harbors will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Wrens come into the battle with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Esko (Esko, MN).
