The Palmyra Panthers baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Canton Tigers to 1 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.

The Panthers now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moberly for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Palmyra will play a Spartans team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Fayette (Fayette, MO). The Spartans record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Canton drops to 0-1 on the year. The Tigers travel to Monroe City (Monroe City, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-1.
