The Greenfield Wildcats refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Fair Play Hornets, recording an 11-1 victory on Monday at Fair Play.

The game was decided quickly as the Greenfield Wildcats exerted their will early with five runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Jalen Roby and an error in the first inning helped the Greenfield Wildcats put some runs on the board early. Jalen was hot from the plate for the Greenfield Wildcats. Jalen went 3-4, drove in one and scored four runs.

Tristan Long had an impressive outing against the Fair Play Hornets' lineup. The Fair Play Hornets managed just one hit off of the the Greenfield Wildcats' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out four during his four innings of work.
