Spectators at Tuesday's non-league test between the Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO) and the visiting Canton Tigers (Canton, MO), witnessed Highland's basketball squad tip Canton by a margin of 62-55.

The Cougars (6-7) will now prepare for their test against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Kirksville got by Marshall (Marshall, MO), 42-35, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Shelby for a non-league test on Friday, January 13. Canton will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 73-59 league loss to Putnam County (Unionville, MO). The Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
