Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wheaton Bulldogs (Wheaton, MO), 72-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Diamond upgrades its record to 10-11 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Golden City (Golden City, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a Spring River Valley bout on Tuesday, February 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Golden City lost 69-48 in their recent league bout against Greenfield (Greenfield, MO)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Verona Wildcats (Verona, MO) in a Ozark 7 bout, on Tuesday, February 10. Wheaton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 17-6 record after their 56-38 non-league win over Golden City (Golden City, MO).
