Eugene Eagles (Eugene, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Dixon Bulldogs (Dixon, MO), 60-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Eugene upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Eagles host Russellville (Russellville, MO) to play the Indians in a ShowMe bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Russellville lost 72-53 in their recent non-league bout against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Fatima Comets (Westphalia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Dixon will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
