The Lutie Indians basketball team (Theodosia, MO), was overwhelmed 74-43 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Dora Falcons (Dora, MO)

The Falcons now possess a 16-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bunker for a non-league battle on Monday, March 2. Dora will battle a Eagles team coming off a 76-34 non-league loss to Eminence (Eminence, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-17.

The Indians (0-22) will now prepare for their battle against Lesterville (Lesterville, MO). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 18-7 record. In their last battle, Lesterville triumphed over Bismarck (Bismarck, MO), 72-34, in a non-league battle.

This game was big because a win secured us as White River Conference Champions for the second year in a row. (Undefeated in conf. two years in a row) 4-0....4-0 We came out a little slow but our defense stepped up and we started playing like we should. All the guys played hard and knew what this game meant for us. Hopefully we can carry this momentum into districts....
