The Savannah Savages basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Eugene Eagles to 47 in the Savages non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Savages now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a Midland Empire contest on Tuesday, February 1. Savannah will meet a Fighting Irish team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Harmon (Kansas City, KS). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 12-7.
The Eagles (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Osage (Kaiser, MO). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, Osage was nudged by Marquette (Chesterfield, MO), 66-30, in a non-league contest.
