Leopold Wildcats (Leopold, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oak Ridge Blue Jays (Oak Ridge, MO), 63-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Leopold upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Advance (Advance, MO) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Advance won 76-72 in their recent non-league bout against Chaffee (Chaffee, MO)

Next up, the Blue Jays play the Zalma Bulldogs (Zalma, MO) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Friday, January 17. Oak Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
