Peyton Moran has been named player of the year. "Junior Peyton Moran is the type of player every coach loves to have. Hard working on the field and in the classrooom, Peyton came into the season as a new player on the squad as he moved from out of state and quickly gained his teammates and coaching staff's favor with his effort and determination as he lost over 30 pounds to get into shape to be a productive member of the team. Not only did Peyton work hard physically throughout the season but he matured from a quiet, shy teammate to a vocal leader on a team that had only two seniors. Peyton played defense and goalie and led the team in goalkeeper wins for a team that only had 12 players on the roster. In the classroom, Peyton maintained a 4.0 GPA over the course of the semester in his college prep studies. Peyton Moran is the epitome of what a high school scholar/athlete should look like and is the Belle Tigers Player of the Year. Congratulations Peyton!"
