The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Ripley won 83-78 in their recent non-league bout against Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN)

With the defeat, Nettleton moves to 10-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bruce (Bruce, MS) to face the Trojans in a non-league game on Monday, January 7. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 2-3. Bruce won 82-75 in their recent non-league game against Charleston (Charleston, MS)
