Union Yellowjackets (Union, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS), 60-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Union upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Clarkdale (Meridian, MS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a 2A Region 5 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Clarkdale won 63-61 in their recent league bout against Heidelberg (Heidelberg, MS)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Newton Tigers (Newton, MS) in a 2A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Enterprise will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 70-54 league loss to Bay Springs (Bay Springs, MS).
