Mississippi High School Basketball - South Leake falls to Forest
The Forest Bearcats basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting South Leake Wildcats to 50 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bearcats now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scott Central for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 16. Forest will confront a Rebels team coming off a 58-35 non-league win over Quitman (Quitman, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Carthage (Carthage, MS). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Carthage ran past Choctaw Central (Philadelphia, MS), 67-54, in a non-league contest.
