Belgrade Panthers (Belgrade, MT) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team get by the host Polson Pirates (Polson, MT), 40-35 in a non-league outing.

The Panthers (17-6) will now prepare for their outing against Beaverhead County (Dillon, MT). The Beavers go into the non-league outing with a 20-2 record. In their last outing, Beaverhead County got by Custer County (Miles City, MT), 59-47, in a non-league outing.

The Pirates now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Custer County for a non-league outing on Friday, March 7. Polson will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Beaverhead County (Dillon, MT). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-16.
