Bigfork Vikings (Bigfork, MT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lincoln County Lions (Eureka, MT), 61-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Bigfork upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Vikings host Libby (Libby, MT) to play the Loggers in a B District 7 bout on Saturday, January 21. The Loggers go into the bout with a record of 5-5.

Next up, the Lions play the Whitefish Bulldogs (Whitefish, MT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 77-62 non-league win over Thompson Falls (Thompson Falls, MT).
