Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Carolina School of Science & Math Unicorns (Durham, NC), 75-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Northwood upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Chargers host Greensboro Day (Greensboro, NC) to encounter the Bengals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 21. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 19-0.

Next up, the Unicorns encounter the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a 2A/1A Carolina 12 bout, on Tuesday, January 22. North Carolina School of Science & Math will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 58-43 league win over Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
