    CORTEZ MARION-HOLMES has been named player of the year. "Cortez Marion-Holmes is Northside Christian Academy's Player of the Year for 2018-2019. Cortez was NCA's Senior Captain. His season stats included: 12.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 11 blocks, 50 steals, 39 deflections, 37 assists, and 2 drawn charges. In addition, Cortez led the team during conference play with a 62% field goal percentage and 7.2 rpg. Cortez has been a great leader as the only senior starter on a young team that advanced to the semi-finals of the NCISAA 2A playoffs. NCA lost this game to the eventual 2A State Champions. Cortez will be playing basketball for UNC-Pembroke this fall. The coaching staff is very proud of Cortez and his senior season; therefore, we are pleased to select Cortez Marion-Holmes as NCA's Player of the Year. "
