Hayden Price has been named player of the year. "On the mound, Hayden was 6-3 with a save and a 1.41.era. He had four complete games and three shutouts. In 69 2/3 innings, he gave up only 55 hits, 28 walks, and struck out 66. At the plate, Hayden had an average of .333, with 17 rbi's and 9 doubles. He was voted as co-pitcher of the year in the Western North Carolina Athletic Conference. Hayden has signed a scholarship to pitch at Brevard College next year. Putting all this together, Hayden has been named Franklin High School's Baseball Player of the Year! Way to go Hayden and best of luck to you in the future!
