The Murphy Bulldogs softball team scored 14 points and limited the visiting Rosman Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Murphy moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Andrews (Andrews, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A Smoky Mountain game on Thursday, April 5. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-5.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC) in a 1A Smoky Mountain game, on Thursday, April 5. Rosman will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 13-4 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).
