The Killdeer/Halliday Cowboys volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Scranton Miners to 0 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cowboys now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mott-Regent for a B Region 7 game on Tuesday, September 8. Killdeer/Halliday will meet a Wildfire team coming off a 1-1 non-league Glen Ullin/Hebron (Glen Ullin, ND). The Wildfire record now stands at 0-3.

The Miners (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Bison (Bison, SD). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Bison defeated Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 3-1, in a non-league game.
