The Ponca Indians basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Allen Eagles to 23 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wakefield for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 13. Ponca will battle a Trojans team coming off a 61-60 non-league win over Emerson-Hubbard (Emerson, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 5-8.
The Eagles (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, NE). The Cardinals enter the D1 District 6 contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Randolph triumphed over Creighton (Creighton, NE), 51-39, in a league contest.
