Arcadia Huskies (Arcadia, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the visiting Loup County Wildcats (Taylor, NE), 37-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Arcadia upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Huskies travel to Stapleton/McPherson County (Stapleton, NE) to encounter the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Friday, January 8. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Stapleton/McPherson County lost 60-28 in their recent non-league bout against Maxwell (Maxwell, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Greeley-Wolbach Titans (Greeley, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 9. Loup County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 58-41 league win over North Loup-Scotia (Scotia, NE).
