Nebraska High School Basketball - Sutherland can't hold off Bridgeport
The Bridgeport Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Sutherland Sailors to 44 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hemingford for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Bridgeport will meet a Bobcats team coming off a 63-50 non-league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
The Sailors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Wallace was nudged by Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE), 73-70, in a league contest.
