The Chadron Cardinals basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Gering Bulldogs to 39 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gordon-Rushville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 22. Chadron will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 67-39 league loss to Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-9.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) in a B District 6 bout, on Saturday, January 19. Gering will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 77-65 league win over Alliance (Alliance, NE).
