The Chase County Longhorns basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Gering Bulldogs to 59 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Hitchcock County for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 10. Chase County will confront a Falcons team coming off a 77-16 league win over Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Gering falls to 9-10 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to McCook (McCook, NE) to clash with the Bison in a B District 8 outing on Friday, February 13. The Bison come into the outing with a record of 15-5.
