Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Platteview Trojans (Springfield, NE) and the visiting Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE), saw Platteview's basketball squad wallop Crete by a count of 66-38.

With the victory, Platteview upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Douglas County West (Valley, NE) to play the Falcon in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 12. The Falcon come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Douglas County West won 82-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Conestoga (Murray, NE)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) in a B District 6 challenge, on Friday, February 12. Crete will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, NE).
