Osmond Tigers (Osmond, NE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Winside Wildcats (Winside, NE), 48-21 in a league bout.

With the victory, Osmond upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Wausa (Wausa, NE) to confront the Vikings in a D2 District 5 challenge on Friday, February 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Wausa lost 51-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 18. Winside will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 50-38 league win over Brownell-Talbot (Omaha, NE).
