Mackenzie Wecker has been named player of the year. "Mack was our libero, I'd say the best in the state. She ended the season with 398 digs. Mack reads tips and shots that the other hitters make and gets touches when we all think the balls are going down. Not only does she man our backrow, but she talks to OUR hitters, letting them know what shot the defense is giving them. Mack is looking at Midland University, NECC, even a walk-on offer from the Huskers. (That one is kind of under-wraps) She is a great player- very coachable and gives it her all. She was named the NE-prep player of the year already, as well as many other outstanding awards and will compete in the NE all-star game this July. "
