The Trojans (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Southern was dropped by Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Jets encounter the Johnson-Brock Eagles (Johnson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 11. Sterling will attempt to move on its 12-10 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE).
