Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Golden). They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Wheat Ridge Farmers on Thursday. The Demons haven't had any issues with the Farmers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Adrianna Riddle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Daely Peterson and Reagan Smith did most of the damage at the plate: Peterson went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs, while Smith went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI.
