There's no place like home for the Chestnut Ridge Lions, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They took their contest at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-21 win over Bald Eagle Area.
It was another big night for Ashlie Weaver, who scored 24 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tabitha Hyde, who scored nine points.
The victory got Chestnut Ridge back to even at 10-10. As for Bald Eagle Area, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Chestnut Ridge will head out on the road to take on the Bisons at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bald Eagle Area, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m.
