Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Butte Valley). They put the hurt on the Tulelake Honkers with a sharp 63-42 victory on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Honkers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 54-40 loss.
Butte Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kohen Thomas led the charge by going 6 for 10 to rack up 18 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
