The West Valley Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Xavier Prep Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. West Valley will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
On Thursday, West Valley got the win against Rim of the World by a conclusive 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Alexander Boring made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over six innings pitched. Boring was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

West Valley suffered a grim 13-3 defeat to Xavier Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2021. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
