Everything went Mora's way against Crosby-Ironton on Friday as they made off with a 38-16 victory. Mora have a history of success against Crosby-Ironton, winning their last head-to-head 43-0.
Mora's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 16 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Crosby-Ironton couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 16-0 heading into the break. The Mora defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the match. The win bumped Mora's record up to 5-0. The loss dropped Crosby-Ironton's record to 1-3.
Next week Mora take on Moose Lake/Willow River at 7:00 PM. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Crosby-Ironton, they will face off against Aitkin.
