Cary Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Neal, who scored 23 points. The matchup was Neal's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was David Wisniewski jr., who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Raleigh Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cary Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
