Football Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Takes a Loss

St. Luke's Episcopal lost against Blacksher back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats were beaten by the Bulldogs 51-16. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-16.

St. Luke's Episcopal's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cameron Roberts, who rushed for 101 yards and one TD on only 13 carries, and Jathan Richardson, who rushed for 26 yards and one score. Roberts is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

This is the second loss in a row for St. Luke's Episcopal and nudges their season record down to 3-4. As for Blacksher, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
