Wiseburn- Da Vinci waltzed into their match on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Lawndale Cardinals. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Deklen Emmersen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). Emmersen was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Emmersen wasn't the only one making solid contact as eight players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Horton, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave Horton a new career-high in doubles (two). Adan Barbosa was another, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci's record now sits at 6-2. As for Lawndale, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-2.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 win against North on the 8th. As for Lawndale, they have also already played their next match, a 5-0 victory against Hawthorne on the 11th.
